my name is melissa, and i am TOTALLY obsessed with harry potter. and i'm fine with that. tatum leaves for chicago today, dusty's still in mtn. home, and slade has to work all weekend. i thought to myself today, "what on earth will i do with all of that roommate-less time?" i had at first planned to clean our house as a surprise. but then today i had a way better idea. since the seventh and final (one tear falls for series enders) book comes out in like two weeks, i'm going to re-read all six harry potter books this weekend. i am almost certain i can do it. just me, my newly-cool room (whoever invented window units gets a big kiss from me), and all those books. i'm going to be cracked out on harry potter. i'm so excited i can't freaking wait. I SAID I CAN'T WAIT. does anyone else have a weekend plan as badass as mine?

Holy crap!! I dont think Ive enjoyed reading since before law school.. *sigh* Oh how I miss books. Maybe I should try. Ive never even READ Harry Potter! Damn.
yea! then bring them to my house and i will do the same thing. i esp need to remember the first two.
DUDE i was just the other day thinking about doing that. or at least rereading five before the movie comes out next week. TRUST ME, i am highly obsessed. have we ever talked HP before? i have no shame about my obsession either. even the students make fun of me sometimes. i care not!
I actually had a similar plan, until I found out Harry Potter is a hot commodity in Kathmandu. You have my blessing, but I am forced to point out, that this plan may be as dorky as the Buffy musical.
That sounds like an awesome weekend to me...i love reading a good book!

I'm sad that I waited so long to read your blog. Mainly because I ALMOST came to Conway this weekend to visit. The main reason for not coming? I didn't want to sit in a car with my girlfriend for 60 minutes. Yeah, it's bad. I'll call you later to chat. Keep away from the cigs.

That's pretty intense (she says while watching "The Chamber of Secrets,"). I swear I am. Right now. As we speak.
I'm embarrassed to say I won't be at the midnight showing of the movie tomorrow, but I AM going Wednesday, dang it. Let me know if you're interested....!
